Replace Broken Cables

Safety Cables for Extension Spring

Safety Cables for Extension Spring

Safety Cables for Extension Spring

Safety cables are essential to ensure the safe operation of the high tension extension springs. Their main function is to keep the spring in place. If the spring breaks and the cable is not properly attached (starts at the bottom of the door through/around the pulleys and attaches to the track) the spring can fly off and cause serious property damage and/or significant bodily injury to someone including death.

Cables for Torsion Springs

The Tosion spring assembly  also needs cables. The cable runs from the bottom of the door up to the drum of the torsion assembly. All cables should be examined yearly to make sure they are not frayed or starting to rust.  .
