All garage doors have rollers, that run along the track and allows the door to move up and down.
Safety cables are essential to ensure the safe operation of the high tension extension springs. Their main function is to keep the spring in place. If the spring breaks and the cable is not properly attached (starts at the bottom of the door through/around the pulleys and attaches to the track) the spring can fly off and cause serious property damage and/or significant bodily injury to someone including death.
The Tosion spring assembly also needs cables. The cable runs from the bottom of the door up to the drum of the torsion assembly. All cables should be examined yearly to make sure they are not frayed or starting to rust.
The track is another hardware part that is bolted to the wall and suspended from the ceiling for the door to ride in as it moves up and down.
Sensors are wired to your operator / opener and is a safety feature meant to ensure that there is nothing blocking the path of the garage door coming down to fully close. If the sensors are not lined up correctly, or if there is something blocking the path, the door will not close.
We can replaced your garage door remotes and wireless keypads.
Other Hardware such as brackets, hinges, and pulleys along with the rollers, cables, and springs are all hardware parts the make up the complete garge door sysytem. While the springs, rollers and cables are often the obvious hardware that need to be repaired or replaced, this other hardware is also important to keep maintained for proper functioning.
